Activities to celebrate 310th anniversary of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai region

(ĐN)- According to the Provincial Steering Board for Organization of Important Anniversaries, a cultural week to celebrate 310th anniversary of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai region will take place in the hub of the city from December 20 to 27.

(ĐN)- According to the Provincial Steering Board for Organization of Important Anniversaries, a cultural week to celebrate 310^th anniversary of Bien Hoa-Dong Nai region will take place in the hub of the city from December 20 to 27.

Particularly, Dong Nai Golden Star award presenting ceremony will be solemnly held at Tran Bien Literature Temple and the province’s Sport-Culture Complex in the morning of December 20. The Award aims to honor individuals who made significant contributions to the development of Dong Nai. On this occasion, the voting result for ten songs in praise of Dong Nai, ten architectural sites and  beautiful sites of Dong Nai will be officially announced.

On the same day evening, the Bien Hoa Festival Exhibition Fair will be organized at the Complex with the participation of 400 pavilions from 180 enterprises inside and outside the province.

Besides, traditional music performances will be also held at Tran Bien Literature Temple and Dong Nai’s Sporting Hall from December 22-24 by Dong Nai Radio and Television.

Dong Nai will kick off the National Open Sepak Takraw Tournament at Dong Nai’s Sporting Hall on Dec. 23. Moreover, a cuisine cultural festival will be held on the same day night  in Bien Hung night market.

In the morning of Dec. 25, books on Huynh Van Nghe, a revolutionary officer and poet who lived during the French and American wars, will be introduced at Dong Nai Museum. On this occasion, the scholarships will be also awarded to students from Huynh Van Nghe schools in Dong Nai and Binh Duong.

On Dec. 26, the Street Festival will be organized in Nguyen Van Tri street with the participation of more than 3,000 local people. The cultural week will end with an art programne called “Impression of Dong Nai” to be held on Dec. 27 at Tran Bien Temple. Most of activities will be broadcast live on DN-RTV.
