(ĐN)- Although living in a poor family in a remote commune in Vinh Cuu district, Dat tried his best to overcome difficulties to continue his studying while his two sisters have to quit school early to earn money for the family. He, a good student of Tri An high school, will be the hope of his family if there was not the accident of gas explosion on August 25.

Dat’s mother and sister are always present at the hopital to take care of him

Dat’s entire body was scalded severely and his father was killed in the gas explosion in his rented house in Vinh An town. As the school was far from his house, he had to rent a room near the school. Presently, Dat is being treated at Childrens Hospital No. 1 in HCM City for injuries to his body. Until now, his mother have to borrow nearly VND80 million to cover the hospital fee for him; however that was not enough for treatment and maintenance of the household expenditure.

Dat’s mother, who has just suffered a miscarriage after this shock and strain, and his second oldest sister with respiratory disease are forced to live on charitable meals offered by the hospital. His oldest sister passed away two years ago.

According to the hospital’s doctors, the boy’s burn wound is an advantageous condition to cause septicemia and he would become handicapped for the rest of his life. Dat’s family is currently living in extremely difficult circumstance, so we hope to receive donations from sponsors to help Dat’s family to overcome difficulties and losses.
