(ĐN)- Dong Nai Province Department of Transport has recently set up a meeting with related agencies to ask for a subsidy for bus service in order to transport workers to and from factories located in Bien Hoa city’s industrial parks.
According to their proposal, the province would offer nearly VND 1.5 billion for nine bus routes that transport workers to and from their place of work within six months. It is a pilot project in Bien Hoa city with the aim of providing a stable transportation service for workers and avoiding traffic jams in the city’s industrial parks. If the implementation is successful, in six months, then the provincial Department of Transport will seek a permit from the Provincial People’s Committee to allow workers to access any of the city bus routes.
