Presenting charity house to dioxin victim

(ĐN)- On June 19, Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Association held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to the family of Truong Thi Thanh Nga, an AO/dioxin victim in Vinh Cuu district’s Hieu Liem commune.

(ĐN)- On June 19,  Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Association held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to the family of Truong Thi Thanh Nga, an AO/dioxin victim in Vinh Cuu district’s Hieu Liem commune. The house is built on an area of 32 sq.m with a total cost of VND32 million, of which Vietnamese Association in Belgium donated 1,000 Euros (VND25 million), the rest was contributed by the family. At the ceremony, the benefactors in Bien Hoa city presented gifts, including television, clothes, books and cash, to the family. As known, Nga’s father and brother are victims of AO/dioxin, her mother’s body was paralysed due to a labor accident. She is now living in special difficult circumstance.
