General inspection of passenger cars and trucks held as of June 1

(ĐN)- The Road and Railway Traffic Police Department has issued an instruction asking localities nationwide to carry out a general inspection of passenger cars and trucks moving in National Highway 1A as of June 1.

In an effort to improve road safety, the Dong Nai Traffic Police Department has performed a general inspection of passenger vehicles and trucks crossing National Highway 1A, Highway 20 and Highway 51 as from May 22. There were over 200 passenger cars and 400 trucks reportedly involved in traffic rule violations within ten days of inspection. The inspectors imposed penalties for violations of traffic laws.
