(ĐN)- In the first quarter of 2008, Thong Nhat district’s organizations cooperated with related agencies to hold 43 short term training courses for more than 1,874 youth union members and local farmers. During the training courses, the farmers have been instructed how to apply advanced technologies and materials in production. Besides, the district provided loans worth nearly VND30 billion to 3,948 poor members to do business, improve their life.
Moreover, the organizations mobilized approximately VND40 million to upgrade 2.2 km of rural roads in Xuan Thien, Gia Tan 3 and Hung Loc communes.
