(ĐN)- To respond to the campaign “Tet for the poor” launched by Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, Xuan Loc District Diocese bishop’s office raised more than VND1 billion for charity activities. On the occasion of Tet, the office cooperated with doctors from HCM city to provide free eye surgeries for 448 poor people throughout the province, visited and presented 700 Tet gifts worth a total of VND150 million to single elderly people, disabled and orphaned children who are living in the centers.
