(ĐN)- On the occasion of Christmas 2007, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the provincial Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh and the leaders from the provincial Front Fatherland Committee and Committee for Ethnic and Religious Affairs visited and sent congratulations to Catholics and Protestants for Christmas.
Particularly, the delegation visited the Bishop Nguyen Chu Trinh and the parishioners in the Xuan Loc Diocese, the Catholic priest Tran Xuan Thao and the provincial Committee for Solidarity of Catholics, the parson Nguyen Huu Vien, the parson Nguyen Ton and Dong Nai Protestant Religious Society to wish them a merry Christmas. Speaking at the visits, Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh praised the Bishop, the dignitaries and parishioners for their contributions to the local socio-economic development and security maintenance. The dignitaries also thanked the provincial authorities for helping Catholics and Protestants and pledged that they would continue to encourage Church members to actively participated in patriotic emulation movements as well as the fight against poverty.
