Twenty-two photographs won prizes at the 2007 art photo contest. For the topic of trade, a photo entitled “Sieu thi ngay khai truong” (Opening day at a supermarket) taken by photographer Nguyen Dinh Quoc Van from Dong Nai won the first prize. Second prizes were awarded to a photo “Hop luc” (United force) by Luu Thuan Thoi from Dong Nai and a photo “Cong nghe cao” (High technology) by Nguyen Vinh Hien from Vinh Long, while the third prize was shared between a photo “Nhiet thep” (Heating steal) by Le Thi Diem Phuc from Ho Chi Minh City, a photo “Goc pho cho” (In one corner of the city’s market) by Do Quoc Viet from Dong Nai and one “Khan truong giao hang” (Delivering urgently goods) by Nguyen Dinh Quoc Van from Dong Nai. In the topic of tourism, first prize was given to Hoang The Phuc from Dong Nai with a photo “Duoc mua he” (Summer) , and the two second prizes were given to Tran Huu Cuong from Dong Nai with a photo “Du lich ho Long An” (Traveling to Long An lake) and Vu Duy Thong from Dong Nai with a photo “Noi Tiep” while the third prizes were shared between a photo “Dem hoi Tran Bien” (Festival night at Tran Bien temple of literature) by Luu Thuan Thoi, a photo “Ben que” by Vu Duy Thong and one “Dat lanh” by Le Thi Diem Phuc. In addition, ten consolidation prizes were awarded in both topics of trade and tourism.
100 best photos will be displayed in an exhibition which is expected to be held in September 2.
