Good farmers receive certificates of merits by Cam My districts People Committee |
(ĐN)- Recently, Cam My district held a meeting to summarize the movement of good farmers in production and business for the period of 2004-2007. During the past three years, the district’s farmers have made many efforts to change the appropriate crop and plant structure and grow long-time industrial trees with high economic value. Therefore, the local farmers’ life has been improved substantially with the number of rich households increasing while that of poor households went down to 9.92 percent. Each year, there are 70-80 percent of farmers’ households participating in the movement.
At the meeting, Cam My district’s People’s Committee awarded certificates of merits to 90 farmers’ households who won the titles of good farmers in production and business for three consecutive years.
