Local firms grant scholarships to poor students

(ĐN)- Binh Tien Consumer Goods Company (Bitis) has granted scholarships to 453 outstanding students who are children of poor civil servants. 184 of whom are children of poor employees working in the company.

(ĐN)- Binh Tien Consumer Goods Company (Bitis) has granted scholarships to 453 outstanding students who are children of poor civil servants. 184 of whom are children of poor employees working in the company.

It is a part of the scholarship program entitled “Nang niu tai nang Viet”  (nurturing Vietnamese talents) funded by Bitis. This program is co-organized by the Viet Nam Study Encouragement Society and Bitis. The scholarships are awarded annually to poor students, each valued from VND 500,000 to VND 1.2 million.

* Tin Nghia company and some local firms have offered 447 scholarships to children who are living in orphanages and the Consultation and Rehabilitation Centres for Disabled Children in Dong Nai province. It is a part of the scholarship program entitled “Chung tay vi the he tuong lai” (joining hands in nurturing the future generation). Each scholarship was valued at VND 500,000. During the past 10 years, Tin Nghia company has donated VND 11 billion to help disable, poor children and orphans.
