(ĐN)- Dong Nai province has raised the Study Encouragement Fund worth over VND 8.8 billion in the first half of this year, the province’s Study Encouragement Society announced at a meeting to review its activities in the six months of the year in Dong Nai on July 6.

The fund was used to provide scholarships for poor students, give awards for students who had achieved excellent study results and support public schools in upgrading their facilities. In addition, the fund helped to build houses for pupils who faced living in difficult circumstances and aid other social activities.
During the reviewed period, the province’s Study Encouragement Society has also set up community learning centres with the aim of building a learning society. Besides, the movement of fondness families for learning launched by the province’s Study Encouragement Society has positive impacts on encouraging the people’s fondness for learning in the province.
In the last six months of this year, the province’s Study Encouragement Society continues the efforts to increase the quality of its activities. Besides, it will have a lot of meetings to honour in Dong Nai, especially regarding fondness of learning’s families etc.
