(ĐN)- To mark the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day, the Dong Nai Customs Department held a meeting with Vietnamese heroic mother Tran Thi On, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces Nguyen Thanh Tung and Tran Cong An and relatives of war invalids and martyrs who are the staff of the provincial customs department in Dong Nai on July 21.

During the past years, the provincial customs department has actively taken part in the “Paying debts of gratitude” movement. The Department is nursing two Vietnamese heroic mothers and looking after one hero of the people’s armed forces. Besides, the department has frequently organised visits and presented gifts to homes where care for parents of fallen combatants. Moreover, it has built 38 houses for poor households and 2 houses for social policy beneficiaries.
