According to Director of Buu Long Tourist Area Tran Van Thuong, Buu Long has welcomed more than 30,000 visitors inside and outside in the province during the first five days of Lunar New Year, doubled the figure of the previous year. In order to meet the visitors’ entertainment demands on the occasion of Dinh Hoi Lunar New Year, Buu Long Tourist Area spent over VND1 billion for the installation of new entertainment facilities. Du Long restaurant had been also invested to become cleaner and more beautiful. At the tourist area, the visitors can enjoy folk games like walking on stilts, fishing; people who like thrills can participate in games of bull riding, archery. Besides, there are boats carrying visitors around Long An lake where people can enjoy fresh air. Moreover, other entertainment activities have been held on the Tet days such as music performance, legerdemain and circus performance, etc. Mr. Thuong said that more investments will be made in 2007 to build a floating restaurant and water sports facilities so as to meet demands of the visitors.Reported by Do Duy.
