(ĐN)- On January 23, the province’s Women’s Association held a meeting to review its works in 2006 and discuss orientations and tasks for 2007 in the presence of Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Duong Minh Nga, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
(ĐN)- On January 23, the province’s Women’s Association held a meeting to review its works in 2006 and discuss orientations and tasks for 2007 in the presence of Mrs. Bui Ngoc Thanh, Head of the Mass Mobilisation Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, and Mr. Duong Minh Nga, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
During the past year, the Association has strengthened its organisations and helped women obtain loans to develop family economy in order to overcome poverty. The Association reported that it mobilized approximately VND40 billion in 2006 to lend to 32,314 women to help them open new businesses and raise their incomes.
On orientations for the future and the tasks for 2007, the report emphasized that:
The Association will admit an additional 20,000 members and also undertake further efforts to map out measures to help members develop.
