A parade in Bien Hoa city to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS

(ĐN)- Within the framework of organizing propaganda and education on HIV/AIDS prevention and control measures, Bien Hoa City’s Medical Centre has launched a one-month campaign in the city to fight against HIV/AIDS from November 15 through December 15.

The volunteers are distributing leaflets, booklets and information on HIV/AIDS.

On the morning of December 1, a parade was marched in the streets of Bien Hoa city to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS for the general community. Besides, more than 20 young volunteers in Bien Hoa City distributed leaflets, booklets and information on HIV/AIDS in streets, bus and train stations, schools and markets.

Bien Hoa records 2,047 HIV/AIDS carriers, of whom 435 have died so far.
