This is the first-ever event in Dong Nai to honor foreign experts who make great devotion to the economic construction and social development of Dong Nai province at the awarding ceremony to mark Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13. Dong Nai Newspaper’s reporter had an interview with Ajinomoto Company’s General Director Takashi Miyama who is one of the two foreign experts to be honored.

Q: Maybe you have already known that you will be honored at the celebration meeting to mark Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day on October 13. How do you feel when you hear this news?

A: I am extremely touched to receive this honor.

Q: What activities have you and your company done in order to be recognized as the outstanding businesses in Dong Nai?

A: Dong Nai province enjoys abundant material sources, sufficient for long run production and owns skillful human resource. The company has always been actively involved in local activities that contribute to the quality of life in your community. In addition, we strictly abide by the law of Vietnam and fulfill the duties as stipulated by the law. Furthermore, the company has also played an important role in social and charity activities. I think that this award recognizes significant contributions made by our company and myself.

Q: What will your company do in the next time to maintain these achievements?

A: The Vietnamese economy experiences rapid growth. The company is targeting to have a higher growth rate than that of the Vietnamese economy. Besides, we also have responsibilities and obligations to the society at large. Especially, our commitment to investment and growth that provides harmony between business and the community at large.
