Broadcasting targeted for minority ethnic and catholic audiences

(ĐN) – On September 13, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station (ĐNRTV) held a meeting to sum up the two years activity of broadcasting “Choro” language programming to minority ethnic audiences and one year of broadcasting special program for catholic audiences.

(ĐN) – On September 13, Dong Nai Radio and Television Station (ĐNRTV) held a meeting to sum up the two years activity of broadcasting “Choro” language programming to minority ethnic audiences and one year of broadcasting special program for catholic audiences. Participants contributed their opinions and ideas during the meeting. They also pointed out the need for ĐNRTV to develop its achievements during the past years and improve the quality of these programs to better serve audiences.

ĐNRTV was an initiative in 2004 to broadcast “Choro” language programming to minority ethnic audiences across Dong Nai province on four times per week with duration of 15 minutes. This programing reached wide audiences in the province. ĐNRTV has been receiving high praise for its program from different audiences in the province, in particular, minority ethnic people living in Dong Nai. In addition, it has been more than a year since the  ĐNRTV started broadcasting special program for catholic audiences in Dong Nai on regular basis. The quality of the program has been improving over the past time. The presence of special program for catholic people has been a huge draw for audiences across Dong Nai. ĐNRTV has played an important role in disseminating the Party’s policies and guidelines to catholic people, reflecting catholic people’s opinions and feelings as well as creating social consensus to implement the Party’s resolutions.
