(ĐN)- On June 3, the delegation of Dong Nai Newspaper and Dong Nai Radio and Television (ĐNRTV) to Tien Giang province gave presents to poor children and people in need in Nhi Binh village, Chau Thanh district. Some seven bicycles were offered to outstanding poor students from Nhi Binh Junior High School. The delegation also handed over a house to a poor family in the area. On this occasion, the delegation distributed 50 school bags and 500 notebooks to poor children to prepare to next year school (2006-07). These donations were financed by charity funds raised from the two press and media agencies.

Nhi Binh Village is the native land of martyr Bui Van Hoa who scarified his life in the fight to protect Bien Hoa-Dong Nai in the anti-American resistance war and was awarded the title of "Hero of the Peoples Armed Forces" by the President. During the past years, Dong Nai’s press and media agencies have carried out practical activities to show gratitude to the great contributions by revolutionary martyrs in the past struggle for national liberation and to respond to the movement of "paying debts of gratitude" to those who have rendered meritorious services to the nation.
