Australian charitable donation helps local hospitals and medical centres

St Vincent Hospital and Quang Minh Pagoda in Melbourne, Australia have donated 17 heart monitors worth US$150,000 to 17 hospitals and medical centres across the country

St Vincent Hospital and Quang Minh Pagoda in Melbourne, Australia have donated 17 heart monitors worth US$150,000 to 17 hospitals and medical centres across the country.

 

Recipients include hospitals and medical centres in Hanoi, HCM City, Can Tho and the provinces of Thai Binh, Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Nam, Dong Nai, An Giang and Ben Tre.

 

The donation was presented by the HCM Citys Association for Sponsors of Poor Patients and HCM City-based Asia Pacific Trading Corp.

 

Head of the association Nguyen Vinh Nghiep said the monitors would help improve medical services at hospitals and medical centres.
