(ĐN) - In the morning of September 12, Ngo Quyen Senior High School (Bien Hoa City) held a ceremony of collecting notebooks from its students to aim at responding to the particular programme entitled “White notebooks for friends”. This event is held annually, involving students in the school engaged in the meaningful activity. The programme as launched by the school is designed to provide assistance to poor pupils in the most remote areas of the province. At the ceremony, over 1,200 pupils in the school contributed 12,400 notebooks to the charity programme. The school donated 2,400 notebooks to the citys Youth Union and 10,000 notebooks to Dong Nai Newspaper for their charity works. These notebooks will be presented to poor pupils in poorest and most difficult communes in the province.
