(ĐN) – The 13th Children Singing Festival 2005 entitled "Pink lotus bud" was opened at Hoa Binh (Peace) Theatre in the evening of July 20, 05 in Ho Chi Minh city with its theme of "Loving city named Uncle Ho". The Festival takes place from 20 until 24 July, 2005.
The festival encourged participation of the nationwide 54 Children’s Cultural Houses which showed their performances at 8 places throughout Ho Chi Minh City. Especially, Children’s Cultural Houses of Dong Nai with its performance of "Children’s peace" and that of Xuan Loc Commune with its theme of "Fairy-like childhood" participated in the Festival being held at Cultural Center in Phu Nhuan district, Ho Chi Minh city.
