At noon on a day in late 2025, during an event to provide livelihood capital support to people with disabilities, organized by the Disability Research and Capacity Development Center under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province, while participants were resting and having lunch, Nguyen Van Thinh, Head of the Long Thanh Club for People with Disabilities, took the time to complete the remaining tasks to prepare for the house-handover ceremony for a member’s family in the afternoon. Thinh himself mobilized funding, in-kind contributions, and directly oversaw the house construction.
With a total of 335 points, Pham Bao Nam (an 11th-grade English 2 student at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted in Dong Nai province) not only excellently won the laurel wreath in the weekly round of the “Road to Mount Olympia” competition aired on December 7, but also broke the school’s record score after ten seasons of sending contestants to the program.
Speaking at the talk show Connecting Labor Supply and Demand in Dong Nai Province 2025, held in early December, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan stated that, according to the 2026 forecast, once Long Thanh Airport officially goes into operation, the province’s labor market will continue to be vibrant, driving a sharp increase in recruitment demand across the province, estimated at around 55 thousand workers.
