Dong Nai is accelerating the transition of its industrial park (IP) model toward green, ecological and circular development.

More than a year after the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat issued Directive No. 39-CT/TW on October 30, 2024, regarding the enhancement of social policy credit effectiveness in the new context, Dong Nai has witnessed strong and comprehensive transformations.

One morning, as warm sunlight streamed through the window, Trinh Minh Thuy sat in front of her mirror. She took a moment to apply light makeup, enough to bring a fresh and energetic brightness to her face. Watching his daughter, who walked with crutches, step onto her three-wheeled motorcycle to go to work with an optimistic spirit, her father, Trinh Van Tinh, felt a quiet warmth in his heart. He had been the one who stayed close, accompanying and supporting her as she overcame the hardships caused by her disability since childhood.

At noon on a day in late 2025, during an event to provide livelihood capital support to people with disabilities, organized by the Disability Research and Capacity Development Center under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in Long Thanh commune, Dong Nai province, while participants were resting and having lunch, Nguyen Van Thinh, Head of the Long Thanh Club for People with Disabilities, took the time to complete the remaining tasks to prepare for the house-handover ceremony for a member’s family in the afternoon. Thinh himself mobilized funding, in-kind contributions, and directly oversaw the house construction.

With a total of 335 points, Pham Bao Nam (an 11th-grade English 2 student at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted in Dong Nai province) not only excellently won the laurel wreath in the weekly round of the “Road to Mount Olympia” competition aired on December 7, but also broke the school’s record score after ten seasons of sending contestants to the program.

Speaking at the talk show Connecting Labor Supply and Demand in Dong Nai Province 2025, held in early December, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Mai Xuan Tuan stated that, according to the 2026 forecast, once Long Thanh Airport officially goes into operation, the province’s labor market will continue to be vibrant, driving a sharp increase in recruitment demand across the province, estimated at around 55 thousand workers.

On December 9, the Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union and the Dong Nai Provincial Students’ Association jointly held the opening ceremony for the 2025 Scientific Research Camp for Dong Nai Students (Station 1). On December 9, the Dong Nai Provincial Red Cross Society received 100 million VND donated by DK Vina Co., Ltd. (located in Long Thanh Industrial Park, An Phuoc commune) to support people in the central provinces in overcoming the consequences of storms and floods.

On December 9, Thong Nhat General Hospital in Long Binh ward, Dong Nai province, hosted the signing ceremony for a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the hospital and VietinBank’s Bien Hoa Industrial Park Branch.

Dong Nai currently has more than 4 million people participating in health insurance (HI), accounting for over 91.9% of the province’s population. This rate indicates that residents are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of HI, as well as the practical benefits this social welfare policy provides.
