As 2025 draws to a close, workers are eagerly anticipating a rise in their average monthly income, driven by overtime, regional minimum wage increases, and year-end bonuses.

On December 2nd, Nguyen Thi Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Dong Nai People’s Committee, chaired a working session with relevant departments, agencies, and water supply enterprises to review the status of rural clean water provision in Dong Nai Province for the 2021–2025 period and discuss orientations for the 2026-2030 period.

On the afternoon of December 2, the Dong Nai Confederation of Labor announced that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, the Year of the Fire Horse, the provincial Trade Union plans to distribute more than 74,000 gift packages to union members and workers facing difficult circumstances. Each package will include 1 million VND in cash.

With the arrival of this December, the Christmas atmosphere has filled cafes, shopping centers, and every corner of the streets in Dong Nai. Especially at many cafes and community spaces, young people don't just come to check in; they are also excited to actively participate in decorating handmade items, contributing to creating a warm, lively, and colorful Christmas atmosphere.

During the 2023–2025 period, labour relations across Dong Nai Province have remained stable, with a decline in strikes and work stoppages. This positive outcome is closely linked to the efforts of trade unions at all levels, which have stayed deeply connected with grassroots units, addressed emerging difficulties, and fostered a harmonious, united, and progressive working environment.

Successive rounds of heavy rains and flooding have caused severe damage in Dak Lak and several provinces across the Central and Central Highlands regions. In the aftermath of the floods, the sight of long humanitarian relief convoys from Dong Nai and the mud-covered footsteps of hundreds of officers and soldiers of the Dong Nai Public Security arriving in flood-affected areas has become a source of comfort and spiritual support for local residents.

In 2025, successive waves of natural disasters and severe flooding swept across the northern, central, and Central Highlands regions, causing considerable loss of life and property. In response, Dong Nai province promptly launched multiple donation drives to join hands in supporting affected localities in their recovery efforts and helping residents stabilise their lives as soon as possible.

During the December 1 flag-raising ceremony, leaders of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, including Member of the provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice President of the provincial VFF Committee Ha Anh Dung and Vice Presidents Nguyen Tat Do, Nguyen Tan Phu, and Luu Thi Ha, joined officials, civil servants and employees of the Office and specialized divisions of the Provincial VFF Committee in launching a fundraising campaign to support Central and Central Highlands communities recovering from recent storms and floods, as well as the 2025 Fund for the Poor.

On December 1, the Dong Nai Provincial Labor Federation held a launching ceremony for a donation campaign to support compatriots in the flood-affected areas of Central and Central Highlands Vietnam, helping them overcome hardships, stabilize their lives, and contribute to the “For the Poor” Fund.

Alongside hundreds of delegates representing trade unions at all levels across the province, Nguyen Kim Thanh Thuy, a young Party member and Executive Committee member of the grassroots Trade Union at Leader Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. (Song May Industrial Park, Binh Minh Commune), will participate in the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Trade Union Congress for the 2025–2030 term.

Responding to the Call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Dong Nai Red Cross Society, since October 2025, the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) of the province, the Mendicant Buddhist Sect (VBS), the Xuan Loc Diocese, and the Provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics have mobilized dignitaries, functionaries, male and female monastics, and followers to support and assist compatriots affected by natural disasters.

In the era of digitalization and globalization, political-ideological education is not only a part of the curriculum but also a foundation for building personality, character, and civic consciousness for the younger generation. As multi-dimensional information flows and social media strongly impact students' perceptions, educating them on life ideals, ethics, and social responsibility becomes more urgent than ever.

In recent days, heavy rains and floods have swept through the Central and Central Highlands regions, causing severe human and material losses. Many residential areas have been cut off, supplies of food and clean water are critically low, and the lives of thousands of families have been disrupted amid the cold floodwaters.

That was the theme of a seminar held on the afternoon of November 28, organized in both in-person and online formats under the direction of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Students' Association, with the Dong Nai Provincial Student Association as the lead unit, in coordination with the Vietnamese Students’ Associations in Thailand and the Netherlands.

On November 29, the Dong Nai Department of Health held its 2025 Scientific and Technical Seminar for the provincial health sector, themed “Cardiovascular-Metabolic Diseases: Linked to Primary Care and Public Health,” drawing nearly 300 domestic and international experts and doctors.
