The event, which will be held by Vietnam Television (VTV) in Ninh Binh province from May 9-14, attracts the participation of 32 teams from universities nationwide.
Of the teams, six come from Lac Hong University. The university won the championship last year and is the school in Vietnam which has the best performance at the national and international robotic contests.
The winner of the national contest will represent Vietnam at the 2017 Asian-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) which is scheduled for August in Japan.
