(ĐN)- The Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University's LH-EST team excellently won the top prize in Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2017 held in Singapore between March 15 and 18.

The LH-EST team won the championship at the energy-efficiency vehicle competition with a result of 107.8 kilometers per Kwh of electricity. They were followed by the two teams from the Philippines and Singapore. This is the third time the university has won Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia.
The marathon, held annually by Shell, is a contest for students of technical majors to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. In addition to be a playing ground in technology and application, the event will offer a chance for students to understand how to prepare for, design and operate a vehicle and take use of available fuels.
