(ĐN)- The Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University's LH-Gold Energy team excellently won the top prize in Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2015 held in Manila, the Philippines between February 26 and March 1.
(ĐN)- The Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University's LH-Gold Energy team excellently won the top prize in Urban Concept vehicle category of Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2015 held in Manila, the Philippines between February 26 and March 1.

The LH-Gold Energy team won the championship at the energy-efficiency vehicle competition with a result of 164.4 kilometers per liter of ethanol E100. They were followed by the two teams from Indonesia.
The team also brought home “Best video clip” award for its outstanding work showing how they prepare for, design and operate a vehicle and take use of available fuels.

The marathon, held annually by Shell, is a contest for students of technical majors to design, build and test ultra energy-efficient vehicles. This year’s contest attracted nearly 127 teams from 17 countries and territories across Asia and the Middle East, vying for titles of the Prototype and Urban Concept vehicle categories.
Lac Hong is the first non-pubic university of Vietnam to participate in such a contest, along with two other pubic universities of Ha Noi Polytechnic University and HCM city University of Technology and Education.
