Dong Nai City launches its Intelligent Operations Center

On the afternoon of June 17, within the framework of a cooperation agreement on science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation for the 2026–2030 period between Dong Nai City People's Committee and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the two sides officially announced the operation of the Dong Nai City Intelligent Operations Center (IOC).

Dong Nai City's IOC is located at the Dong Nai City Public Administration Service Center (in Tran Bien Ward). The IOC  integrates, leverages, and visualizes data to serve the monitoring, tracking, and decision-making support for city leaders. The IOC system has constructed operational dashboards to track, synthesize, and provide data that assists the city's management and governance.

According to VNPT Dong Nai, the Dong Nai City IOC application has been upgraded and developed directly on the platform of the city's IOC. All dashboards, reports, sector-specific data, and monitoring tools has been integrated onto mobile devices. This allows city leaders to access information rapidly while strictly ensuring data consistency with the live operational IOC system.

The overview dashboard serves as the core element of the IOC Center in general and Dong Nai City's IOC application in particular. Through intuitive, visual charts and alert systems, city leaders can instantly identify outstanding indicators, areas requiring critical focus, or tasks that are falling behind schedule. These include socio-economic development metrics, public service indicators, the progress tracking of key projects, as well as sectors such as the environment, healthcare, and education.

In addition, the system integrates smart filters categorized by time, units, or specific groups of indicators, enabling users to quickly search for and access the exact information required. Recently, the progress of connecting sector-specific databases from various departments, boards, and sectors to the City's IOC has been heavily prioritized and accelerated by units across the city.
