Ho Chi Minh City launches new version of Technology Exchange Platform

On March 20, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to launch the new version of the Technology Exchange Platform, with the attendance of Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Thanh Phong.

The new platform is an enhanced development of the existing techport.vn system. After years of operation, the platform has facilitated more than 280,000 supply–demand connections, with participation from thousands of businesses, research institutes, and universities.

The upgraded Technology Exchange Platform adopts a hybrid model that combines online operations with in-person transactions. This initiative allows research institutions, universities, enterprises, and experts to connect and conduct technology transactions more flexibly in a digital environment. The platform also enables data synchronization and sharing with the National Technology and Science Exchange.

As part of the launch event, an exhibition space showcased over 70 technological products, equipment, solutions, and innovations from research institutes, universities, and technology enterprises.

The Dong Nai online Technology and Equipment Exchange Platform (Donatex.vn) has been in operation since 2021. Managed by the Dong Nai Center for Science and Technology under the provincial Department of Science and Technology, the platform was approved by the provincial People’s Committee to support organizations, businesses, and individuals in promoting technologies and offering products.

In the coming period, Donatex.vn is expected to strengthen its connectivity with other technology exchange platforms across the country, including the Ho Chi Minh City Technology Exchange Platform and the National Science and Technology Exchange.
