(ĐN)- Since the beginning of this year, Dong Nai has made efforts to provide better care for the elderly.
Accordingly, the province offered monthly allowance for more than 51,000 elderly people, gave health insurance cards to nearly 53,000 ones and provided free healthcare to 62,000 people.
The provincial Elderly People Association and its agencies raised approximately VND15 billion to present some 71,000 Tet gifts to poor members and policy families, visited and congratulated elderly people on their longevity.
In the coming time, Dong Nai will continue to pay more attention to promoting the role of the elderly and ensuring their health and life in the community.
