At the ceremony, the organizers awarded 90 scholarships to high school students and 10 scholarships to students studying at universities.
This is the second year DNRTV has awarded Le Dinh Nhon scholarships to ethnic students across the province.
In 2012, 160 scholarships worth VND2 million each were given to the ethnic students.
Le Dinh Nhon Scholarship Fund has recently raised VND1 billion from his family to help the province’s ethnic minority students. Le Dinh Nhon, former Deputy Secretary of Eastern Region Party Committee, passed away on May 14, 2012.
