They then published their discovery on Herpetologica, a scientific magazine on reptiles and amphibians, in September, 2013.
In Dong Nai province, the new species was found at the province’s Center for Nature and Culture Preservation.
It was scientifically named Kaloula Indochinensis as it was found widely in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
This is the third species of narrow-mouthed frog that has been found in Vietnam so far.
