Mid-Autumn Festival celebrated

(ĐN)- A diverse range of celebrations were held across the province to mark the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.

Tin Nghia Corp on Sept 15 held get-togethers for nearly 1,000 disadvantaged and disabled children from social sponsor centres. At the event, the participants enjoyed arts performance and dragon dance.

On this occasion, the Corp presented gifts and scholarships worth VND300 million to the children.   

Earlier, in Trang Bom district, a music performance programme was organized by the provincial Youth Union to bring joy and present gifts to around 1,500 disadvantaged children and children of workers residing in the locality.

The provincial Labor Union in cooperation with Dong Nai branch of Pepsico company visited and presented 100 gifts worth VND400,000 each  to poor children in Thong Nhat and Tan Phu districts.

Dong Nai External Relation Office’s Service Centre for Foreign and a group of youths called Bien Hoa Fans co-organized a “Full moon” festival for more than 200 disadvantaged children in Tan Mai ward, Bien Hoa city.

At the event, the participants enjoyed arts performance and took part in folk games. On this occasion, the organizers presented 150 gifts to the children.   

The youth group called Ket noi yeu thuong (Connecting love) in Bien Hoa city gave nearly 300 gifts and 5 scholarships totaling nearly VND30 million  to poor children in Xuan Loc district’s Xuan Truong commune.
