Accelerating progress day by day, achieving visible improvements month by month, and joining hands to elevate Dong Nai City to a position far beyond its current standing constitute the political command issued by the Dong Nai municipal Party Executive Committee, which calls on officials, Party members, residents and the business community to actively implement Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU on launching the 500-day-and-night special emulation campaign themed “Solidarity - Discipline - Efficiency - Breakthrough.”
Although the countdown officially began on May 1, 2026, when the municipal Party Executive Committee issued the resolution, the 500-day campaign is not merely a physical measure of time on a clock. Instead, the head of the Dong Nai city government has committed that it represents a peak period of decisive action, and accountability to the Party and the people, aimed at achieving great, practical, and comprehensive results for the locality.
To create the momentum needed to accomplish key goals at each milestone along the roadmap while ensuring both quality and speed, implementing the resolution as a “guiding principle” must become a culture of action across the entire political system and society. Core tasks and major solutions have already been clearly outlined. To leave a mark through concrete “products,” projects and initiatives, the entire city must continue to uphold the core motto of solidarity and cohesion with “shared determination from top to bottom and smooth coordination across all levels.” Every action must demonstrate a high sense of responsibility for the common interests of the homeland and the nation. Each resident is encouraged to contribute an initiative. Each organization is expected to create a meaningful project. Each residential community should develop an effective model. Each official should carry out practical work for the people. Together, these efforts will generate a collective strength capable of mobilizing all available resources and transforming them into new drivers for the city’s sustainable development.
The historic opportunities now present in Dong Nai will not automatically translate into measurable achievements unless people make greater efforts to shape faster progress, proactively shifting from a mindset of “working until the end of office hours” to “working until the task is done,” and from “fulfilling responsibilities” to “seeing things through to completion” in every field. The special emulation campaign will only truly gain momentum among officials, civil servants and public employees, and spread deeply throughout the population and business community, when the Party committee of every agency, unit and locality clearly defines and assigns individual responsibilities.
For this reason, the Standing Board of the City Party Committee will establish inspection teams to regularly monitor compliance with discipline, administrative order and public service ethics at the grassroots level. The objective is to eliminate the “safe-zone mentality,” avoid shirking responsibility, resolutely replace sluggish and complacent officials, and strictly apply personnel arrangement, assessment, assignment and utilization based on the principle of “entry and exit, promotion and demotion.” This approach aims to maximize knowledge, responsibility, labor discipline and service attitudes in support of the city’s breakthrough development process. As emphasized by Vu Hong Van, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dong Nai City Party Committee, Head of the city’s Delegation of National Assembly’s Deputies, every directive and instruction issued by the Chairman of the City People’s Committee must be regarded as a “military order” that must be carried out decisively and effectively.
The determination to rise and shoulder national responsibilities is driving the entire city to intensify emulation efforts, generating new momentum and strong driving forces to successfully realize strategic innovation goals, shape a more modern, civilized and livable urban center, and open up opportunities for Dong Nai to make a powerful breakthrough in the future.
