On May 18, during his working visit to Dong Nai City, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam, together with a Central working delegation, offered incense at President Ho Chi Minh Temple located within the Dong Nai City Party Committee (CPC) compound on the occasion of the 136th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026) and in celebration of the establishment of Dong Nai City.

Attending the incense-offering ceremony were Politburo members and Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Secretariats, including Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Head of the PCC’s Organization Commission; Tran Sy Thanh, Chairman of the PCC’s Inspection Commission; Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilisation; Le Minh Tri, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Internal Affairs; Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Head of the PCC’s Commission for Policies and Strategies; and Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
The incense-offering ceremony was also attended by Politburo members, including General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; and other senior officials including PCC’s Secretariat and Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra; PCC member and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Khac Dinh.

Representing Dong Nai City at the ceremony were Vu Hong Van, PCC member, Secretary of the CPC and Head of the City’s NA Deputies Delegation; Ton Ngoc Hanh, PCC member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Chairwoman of the City People’s Council; Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Chairman of the City People’s Committee; Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the CPC; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Chairwoman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee; Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC and Head of the CPC’s Organization Commission; along with members of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee.
At President Ho Chi Minh Temple, General Secretary and State President To Lam and the delegates observed a moment of silence to honor President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
Following the solemn moment of silence, To Lam and the delegation offered flowers and incense in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, and Heroic Martyr Vo Thi Sau. The delegation’s wreath carried the inscription: “Respectfully offered by To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.”
After the incense-offering ceremony, General Secretary and State President To Lam and the Central delegation visited an exhibition area showcasing Dong Nai’s handicrafts and signature agricultural products.
