Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai City receive First-class Labor Order

On the evening of May 18, the Dong Nai City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized the Ceremony to announce the National Assembly's Resolution on the establishment of Dong Nai City.

The ceremony was attended by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam.

Also attending the ceremony were former Politburo members: former State Presidents Nguyen Minh Triet and Truong Tan Sang; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former standing member of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh. Current and former Politburo, PCC’s Secretariat and PCC members, incumbent and former leaders of the Party, the State, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front; representatives of central agencies, sectors, ministries, provinces and cities nationwide; diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of leaders of provinces in the Kingdom of Cambodia also took part in the ceremony.

Representing Dong Nai City were PCC member, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Dong Nai City Delegation of National Assembly’s Deputies Vu Hong Van, along with current and former city leaders, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, Labor Heroes in the renewal period, the 16th National Assembly deputies of Dong Nai City delegation, leaders of departments and agencies, religious dignitaries, and reputable ethnic community representatives.

At the ceremony, Pham Huy Giang, Head of the Central Emulation and Commendation Commission, announced Decision No. 603/QD-CTN dated April 30, 2026, of the State President on awarding the First-class Labor Order to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai City. According to the decision, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam awarded the First-class Labor Order to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai City for their outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The awarding of the First-Class Labor Order reflects the Party and State’s recognition and appreciation of the significant contributions made by the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Dong Nai throughout the process of construction, development and international integration. Upholding the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the culturally rich land of Tran Bien–Bien Hoa, Dong Nai has continuously risen to become one of the country’s major industrial, commercial and service centers, serving as a dynamic growth pole of the Southeast region and making important contributions to socio-economic development, national defense and security, and the improvement of people’s living standards.

Alongside its remarkable socio-economic achievements, Dong Nai is also recognized as a land rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions, where unique cultural values converge and embody the resilient, generous, loyal and hospitable spirit of the people of the Eastern region. These values form an important foundation for Dong Nai to continue developing into a civilized, modern and livable city in the new era.
