In that atmosphere, voters from many social strata and age groups expressed their excitement and eagerness to exercise their civic rights and duties.
Excitement spreads across every household and residential area
Nguyen Thi Lan, a voter in Cam My commune, shared that her family has 5 members eligible to participate in this election. Upon receiving their voter cards, everyone was happy and looked forward to election day. In particular, her son, Tran Thanh Kim Luan, an 18-year-old freshman at Dong Nai University, is exercising his civic rights for the first time, making him even more excited. In recent days, her family has been studying the candidates' biographies together to ensure they choose the most deserving representatives.
"This is a very meaningful event, so my whole family is ready and looking forward to election day to participate in the country's great festival," Lan shared.
Sharing the same excitement, Vu Thi Truc, a teacher at Dinh Bo Linh Primary School (Binh Minh commune), also expressed her anticipation for the day when she will hold her voter card to elect the deputies that the people trust. According to her, the candidates this time all have many outstanding achievements, fully meeting the prescribed standards. She hopes that after being elected, the deputies will fulfill their responsibilities well, worthy of the voters' trust.
According to regulations, voting on election day, March 15, will begin at 7 a.m and continue until 7 p.m on the same day. Depending on the actual situation in the locality, the election team may decide to start voting earlier but not before 5 a.m, or end later but not after 9 p.m on the same day.
Truc added that as a Catholic, after attending Sunday Mass services, she and other parishioners are informed by priests and parish priests about election day, and are reminded to carefully learn about the candidates to choose truly representatives. "This is the second time I have participated in an election. The first time, when I was younger, I didn't fully understand the standards required for a deputy, but this time, I have proactively learned about the biographies and action programs of the candidates more carefully to make the most suitable choice," Truc emphasized.
The atmosphere of anticipation for election day also spreads to industrial parks - where a large number of workers are employed. Nguyen Van Hung, a worker at Amata Industrial Park, said these days, workers are eagerly awaiting election day to directly choose the deputies they trust. Despite busy work, everyone will proactively arrange their time to participate in voting fully. "We hope that after being elected, the deputies will pay more attention to the workers’ lives, jobs, and policies for them," Hung expressed.
Ready for the great festival
Not only in residential areas or industrial parks, but also in villages and hamlets in ethnic minority areas, the atmosphere in anticipation of the election day is also very lively. Dieu Toi, a village elder in Tho Son commune, said the people in the area are ready for the national festival. In recent days, in daily conversations, he often discussed the time, places, methods of voting, and the candidates' criteria with villagers. The village roads and alleys these days are brightly decorated with flags, banners, and slogans promoting the election. Villagers remind each other to arrange their work to vote early, participating fully in the great festival of the entire people.
According to village elder Dieu Toi, through meetings and information exchanges between local leaders and dignitaries, village elders, and reputable individuals in the area, he has come to understand the meaning and importance of the election more clearly. Therefore, he always actively accompanies the local authorities in propagating and mobilizing people to participate in the election.
Also in the joyful atmosphere as election day draws near, voter Nguyen Hong Thuy (in Long Binh ward) said that as a citizen, she feels very honored and proud to soon hold her voter card to participate in electing worthy deputies to the NA and People's Councils at all levels. According to her, those chosen must be exemplary representatives with political acumen, intellect, integrity, and capability, to truly serve as a bridge conveying the thoughts and aspirations of voters to the competent authorities. Thuy emphasized: "After the success of the 14th Party Congress, the sense of excitement among the people has spread even further, creating more motivation for me and many voters to actively participate in the election festival."
According to Nguyen Quoc Minh, a member of Election Board No. 6, in charge of polling stations No. 51 and 52 (Long Binh ward): By March 11, the distribution of voter cards in the area had been completed for most voters. All voters had been well informed about the election day and expressed their excitement at soon participating in the festival of the entire people. The election team continues to review the list until close to election day to ensure that 100% of voters receive their cards, ensuring that no eligible voter is overlooked. In addition, the preparation of facilities at the polling stations has also been completed, ready for election day to take place solemnly, safely, and in accordance with regulations.
From small families, residential areas, schools, churches to villages, hamlets, and industrial zones, excitement is spreading widely among voters in Dong Nai. All are looking toward election day with a high sense of responsibility and trust, hoping to choose representatives who truly represent the will and aspirations of the people.
