Provincial leaders offer incense at Southeastern Region Martyrs’ Temple and General Vo Nguyen Giap Temple

On the morning of February 12, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee (PPC) and Head of Dong Nai Delegation of National Assembly (NA) deputies Vu Hong Van led a delegation to offer incense in tribute to veteran revolutionaries and heroic martyrs at the Southeastern Region Martyrs’ Temple in Tan An commune. The visit formed part of activities marking the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – 2026) and celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Joining the incense-offering ceremony were Nguyen Van Ut, Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Huynh Thi Hang, Deputy Secretary of the PPC and Chairwoman of the Provincial VFF Committee; Nguyen Kim Long, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, and representatives of departments, agencies and Tan An commune.

In a solemn and reverent atmosphere, opening the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the PPC and Head of Dong Nai Delegation of NA deputies Vu Hong Van and delegates offered flowers and incense at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh.

Before the spirit of the President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation expressed boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of the beloved leader and veteran revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national independence, freedom and reunification.

Subsequently, the delegation offered incense at the Southeastern Region Martyrs’ Temple and General Vo Nguyen Giap Temple and other distinguished generals of the South Vietnam Liberation Army.

At the site, delegates observed a minute of silence in remembrance of the legendary Commander-in-Chief, General Vo Nguyen Giap, distinguished generals of the South Vietnam Liberation Army, and outstanding sons and daughters of the nation who fell on the arduous yet heroic land of the Eastern region.

Before the spirits of the martyrs, on behalf of the Party organization, authorities and people of the province, the delegates pledged to remain united and uphold the glorious revolutionary tradition. The provincial leadership affirmed its determination to overcome difficulties and successfully fulfill socio-economic development goals, striving to build Dong Nai into an increasingly prosperous and civilized province, thereby contributing to the nation’s overall development.
