Amid this upbeat atmosphere, confidence and consensus are spreading widely among cadres, Party members and people from all walks of life. All share a common will and determination, striving toward the goal of building Dong Nai into an increasingly prosperous and sustainable locality, thereby contributing positively to the country’s overall renewal and development.

A foundation for new journey

The year 2025 closed with many remarkable milestones, creating a solid foundation for Dong Nai to confidently enter a new phase of development. Against the backdrop of global economic volatility and following the provincial-level merger, with broader development space and greater potential, under the decisive and flexible leadership of the PPC, along with the solidarity of the entire political system, the business community and the people, Dong Nai achieved many significant and commendable results.

Notably, GRDP grew by 9.63 percent – the highest rate ever recorded; the economic scale reached nearly 680 trillion VND, ranking fourth nationwide; budget revenue exceeded 100 trillion VND; and both domestic and foreign investment inflows increased significantly. At the same time, public investment and strategic infrastructure were vigorously directed, while numerous key projects and works were commenced and inaugurated right on the occasion of major events of the province and the country, contributing to expanding development space and strengthening regional connectivity.

In parallel with economic development, cultural and social sectors continued to receive comprehensive attention. The quality of education and training was gradually improved; healthcare and social security were ensured; and the material and spiritual life of the people was increasingly enhanced. National defense and security were firmly maintained.

These achievements have laid an important foundation to further consolidate the confidence of people, businesses and investors, while opening up new room and momentum for the 2026 plan and the 2026–2030 period.

Sharing his excitement in the early days of spring, Le Thanh Ngoc, a resident of Long Thanh commune, said that 2025 ended with encouraging milestones as the province recorded important results across sectors, especially the Long Thanh International Airport – a national-scale project generating major momentum for socio-economic development, which successfully handled its first takeoffs and landings. Such accomplishments have further strengthened public trust in the province’s leadership and governance, while nurturing expectations for continued breakthroughs in the new year to build Dong Nai into a more civilized and prosperous locality.

The atmosphere of optimism and confidence is also clearly reflected in the daily lives of workers and people throughout the province. In industrial parks, production and business activities have gradually recovered and maintained stable growth, playing a vital role in job creation, income security and helping workers feel secure in their long-term attachment to enterprises.

Nguyen Thi Thanh, a worker at Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, shared: “Although 2025 still posed many difficulties and challenges, our jobs have generally remained stable and incomes ensured. Workers can feel the province’s attention to social security, housing, employment and living conditions. This has strengthened our confidence, enabling us to work with peace of mind and wishing to stay long-term in Dong Nai.”

Regarding improvements in the production and business environment, Ho Tan Tung, owner of an enterprise operating in Phuoc Tan ward, noted that the province has made considerable efforts to upgrade infrastructure, reform administrative procedures and accompany businesses, thereby creating favorable conditions for enterprises to stabilize operations and expand investment. With confidence in the province’s development orientation, he expressed hope that in the coming year Dong Nai will continue to remove obstacles and foster a transparent and open investment climate, thus enabling enterprises to grow and contribute positively to the locality’s rapid and sustainable development.

In rural areas, changes are increasingly visible. Transport infrastructure has been upgraded, while agricultural production has gradually shifted toward sustainability with greater application of science and technology.

In the warm atmosphere of the new spring, village elder Dieu Toi, a resident of Tho Son commune, expressed his joy and excitement at witnessing the province’s growing care and attention to ethnic minority areas. Appropriate policies have gradually come to life, bringing about tangible changes.

“Particularly in agriculture, local people have gradually changed their mindset, boldly applying science and technology to cultivation and livestock farming, improving productivity and product quality, thereby increasing income and stabilizing livelihoods. From these positive shifts, ethnic communities’ trust in the Party’s leadership and the government’s administration has been further reinforced. We hope that in the new year, the province will continue to pay even greater attention to comprehensively improving both material and spiritual life for ethnic minorities, steering the province toward sustainable development,” Dieu Toi said.

Arousing the aspiration for breakthrough

Entering 2026 – a pivotal year for implementing the Resolution of the first Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, Dong Nai has identified priorities of maintaining macroeconomic stability, improving growth quality and accelerating strategic infrastructure projects to generate new development drivers. Moreover, the province will focus on developing human resources, especially high-quality labor; ensuring social security; and enhancing people’s material and spiritual well-being. Efforts will also continue to build a clean and strong Party and political system operating effectively and efficiently; maintain national defense, security and social order; and create a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable development.

Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of People’s Committee of Gia Kiem La commune La Nguyen Minh Hien affirmed that orientations and directives from the province are clear, and the commune is determined to implement them at the grassroots level in a decisive, concrete and effective manner. With the responsibility of local authorities, each cadre and civil servant will uphold the spirit of staying close to the people, listening and accompanying them, and heightening responsibility to translate goals and resolutions into practical and tangible outcomes for local development and people’s happiness.

Within the community, more exemplary models of effective economic development are emerging, with individuals boldly rising out of poverty and pursuing legitimate prosperity, thereby spreading the spirit of creative labor and mutual support for development. From these transformations, ethnic communities have further strengthened their trust in the Party’s leadership and the government’s administration, joining hands with the province to build a sustainably developing homeland.

Sharing the same spirit, Tran Dinh Phu, Head of Tan An hamlet in Dong Phu commune, said: “After the merger, the area has become larger, workloads heavier and pressure greater. Nevertheless, with a strong sense of responsibility and attachment to the hamlet and residents, my colleagues and I will continue to stay close to the grassroots, listen to the people and handle affairs wholeheartedly so that new policies are quickly brought into life, delivering reassurance and confidence to the people.”

Spring comes not only from blossoms and fresh sunshine, but also from confidence and consensus among the people. From the achievements of 2025 to the goals and tasks set for 2026, Dong Nai is gathering all necessary conditions for breakthrough. With the Party’s leadership, the decisive administration of authorities and the solidarity of the people, new momentum is spreading strongly, enabling Dong Nai to confidently enter a new era of development – an era of national rise.
