Throughout the development of Vietnamese culture, from prehistoric times to the present, agriculture has not only fulfilled the basic and essential material needs of the people but also shaped distinctive cultural values in the consciousness, character, and soul of the Vietnamese people: a nation that is diligent, hardworking, self-reliant, peace-loving, and values compassion…

Rooted in agriculture, rising through agriculture, and building prosperity from agriculture, Vietnamese farmers, guided by the Party's correct and wise policies and the state's effective management, have carried forward these qualities as they unite to implement the National Target Program on New-style Rural Development (NRD). This effort features a modern agriculture sector that actively applies the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and bears strong marks of international integration.

Today, Vietnamese farmers in general, and those in Dong Nai in particular, are confident and proud to step onto the global stage with unique, representative agricultural products that meet international standards. Grown, raised, and processed in their native land, these include Vietnamese premium fragrant rice ST25 as the best rice variety in the world; products likened to "black gold" such as coffee and pepper; and internationally recognized agricultural goods like Binh Phuoc cashews and Long Khanh durians. Other standout regions include the banana-growing hub of Bau Ham and the well-known pomelo cultivation area of Tan Trieu. Many of these agricultural products have been exported worldwide.

Obviously, the process of building NRD, advanced NRD, and model NRD represents a comprehensive revolution, transforming the face of rural Vietnam. Bridges are built, roads expanded, and continuous investment is poured into developing electricity, roads, schools, and health stations.

What is especially meaningful and deeply cherished is that, no matter how modern and developed the rural areas become, and no matter how much material and spiritual life improves, the honest and humble rural residents still preserve the cultural identity and traditional values passed down by their ancestors from generation to generation. Visiting rural areas like Xuan Loc, Cam My, Phu Dien, Phu Vinh, or Bu Dang, Bu Gia Map in these days leading up to Tet, alongside deep-processing agricultural factories, closed-loop livestock farms, and heavily laden fruit orchards, one also sees clean and beautiful villages adorned with bright yellow flowers, red couplets, green watermelons, chung cake, and tet cake.

In the bustling and joyful atmosphere of the days leading up to the Lunar New Year of the Horse, people and families cheerfully visit relatives, friends, and partners, never forgetting to bring heartfelt gifts that reflect Vietnamese identity. From premium packaged coffee boxes and firm, naturally fragrant cashews in carefully prepared packaging with a variety of flavors, to specialty fruits with full geographical indications, packaged to GlobalGAP standards, all of these offer a glimpse into the rural landscape of a province that ranks among the country's leaders in both industry and agriculture.

Building new-style rural areas and shaping the image of new-era farmers: "With new thinking, new awareness, new knowledge, new cultural life, and new determination", farmers have proactively embraced the prominent policies of the Party and the state, seizing, utilizing, and effectively leveraging opportunities, leaving a strong imprint on the journey toward reaching new heights and achievements in agricultural production.

As a result, the agricultural sector has not only become a foundation for the food supply of over one hundred million people across the country, but also a key pillar of the national economy. At the same time, it reflects the rich cultural identity of the nation, serving as the very source of strength that has sustained the Vietnamese people for more than 4,000 years.
