Previously, cadres and soldiers at several border guard stations in Bu Gia Map Commune faced significant difficulties, including a lack of electricity and mobile phone signals. After three weeks of implementation, the “Lighting the Border Areas” project has proven truly effective, providing cadres and soldiers of Dac Bo Border Guard Station with a 24-hour power supply. The project not only supports the performance of their duties but also creates favorable conditions for improved daily living and cultural and spiritual activities for the cadres and soldiers.

Speaking at the project-handover ceremony, Tran Dang Ninh, Deputy General Director and Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Dofico, congratulated the unit on the implementation of the “Lighting the Border Areas” project. He also pledged that, together with partner units and benefactors, Dofico would continue to accompany and support the cadres and soldiers of Dac Bo Border Guard Station in particular, as well as other border guard stations facing difficulties, contributing to the firm protection of national sovereignty and border security.

In addition to handing over the “Lighting the Border Areas” project, the working delegation also presented national flags and television sets to serve the cultural and spiritual needs of cadres and soldiers after training sessions and border patrols. The total value of the project and gifts was approximately 300 million VND.

During the same working trip, the delegation visited and presented national flags to Dac Ka, Dac No, Bu Gia Map, and Dac O Border Guard Stations.
