Focusing on disseminating outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress

Implementing the direction of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization on briefing the outcomes of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization Duong Minh Dung signed Official Dispatch No. 545-CV/BTGDVTU dated January 25, 2026. The document was sent to the Standing Board of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee; Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television; and Dong Nai Literature and Arts Magazine regarding the dissemination of the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress.

Accordingly, the Standing Board of the Provincial VFF Committee and Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee are instructed to use the briefing outline as the official information source to promptly disseminate and communicate the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress to cadres, Party members, union members, association members and the public through appropriate forms.

The dissemination work is to be closely linked with monitoring ideological developments and public opinion, while proactively combating and refuting false, distorted and hostile information and viewpoints.

Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television, along with Dong Nai Literature and Arts Magazine, are required to base their coverage on the briefing outline to develop news lines and articles, continuing to widely disseminate the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress.

The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam took place from January 19 to 23, 2026, in the capital city of Hanoi.

At the Congress, the 13th Party Central Committee submitted to the Congress the following documents: the Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee; a report reviewing key theoretical and practical issues of the renovation cause under socialist orientation over the past 40 years in Vietnam; a report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter (2011–2025) and proposing directions for amendments and supplements; and a report reviewing the leadership and direction of the 13th Party Central Committee.

At the Congress, Party General Secretary To Lam presented the report of the 13th Party Central Committee on the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

With a high sense of democracy and responsibility, delegates spent considerable time carefully studying the documents and engaging in lively discussions, with 815 speeches delivered at group meetings and plenary sessions.

The 14th National Party Congress, guided by the motto “Solidarity – Democracy – Discipline – Breakthrough – Development”, is not only a call to action but also a mandate of responsibility before history.

The Congress theme, “Under the glorious flag of the Party, the entire Party, people and army unite in solidarity, resolutely pursue renovation and take action for a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, strong, civilized and happy Vietnam, steadfastly progressing toward socialism,” calls for greater unity, stricter discipline and stronger creativity, while also emphasizing humility, openness to learning, the ability to listen and self-correct in order to continuously improve and progress. The 14th National Party Congress bears a historic responsibility to establish policy decisions serving as a “launchpad” for successfully realizing the country’s  two centennial strategic goals.

The Congress conducted elections in accordance with regulations, electing in a single round 180 official members and 20 alternate members of the 14th Party Central Committee.

The 14th Party Central Committee then convened its first meeting to elect the Party’s leading bodies. As a result, the 14th Politburo consists of 19 members. To Lam,  General Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee, was elected by the 14th Party Central Committee as General Secretary of the 14th Party Central Committee.

At the meeting, the 14th Party Central Committee also elected the 14th Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission with 23 members. Tran Sy Thanh continued to be elected as Chairman of the of the Commission for the 14th tenure.

The great success of the 14th National Party Congress demonstrates the trust, will, determination and new development vision of the Party and the nation. This serves as a solid foundation for the entire Party, people and army to strengthen strategic autonomy, confidence and self-reliance, and to move forward vigorously in a new era, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress for a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, strong, civilized and happy Vietnam, steadfastly progressing toward socialism.
