Da Kia: Promoting solidarity, striving to meet 2026 targets

On the afternoon of December 25, the People’s Council of Da Kia commune (Dong Nai province), term XII, 2021-2026, held its 5th session to assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and set targets and tasks for 2026.

Attending the session were Dieu Dieu, Head of the Ethnic Affairs Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council, and Tran Hoang Tam, Deputy Head of the Legal Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council.

In 2025, Da Kia commune recorded many positive results across various sectors. Of the 21 socio-economic development targets, 19 were met or exceeded. Total production value reached over 3,400 billion VND, up 14.4% compared to 2024; the average annual income was estimated at 74.9 million VND per person. Poverty reduction efforts showed encouraging progress, with the poverty rate dropping to 0.27%.

The cultural, social, and educational sectors continued to be maintained; grassroots healthcare ensured access to medical services for residents; cultural and sports activities remained vibrant; and communication efforts in support of political tasks were implemented effectively. National defense and security remained stable, with military recruitment fulfilling 100% of the target. Social order and safety were basically maintained.

At the session, delegates discussed and voted to approve many important submissions and draft resolutions such as: the socio-economic development and national defense - security plan for 2026, the development plan for the 2026-2030 period, the plan to adjust medium-term public investment, the public investment capital plan for 2026 as well as the estimate of state budget revenue - expenditure for 2026 of the commune.

Speaking at the session, Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, and Chairman of the People's Council of Da Kia commune, Ly Trong Nhan, highly appreciated the responsible and democratic working spirit, as well as the serious preparation of the delegates, which contributed to the session's success. At the same time, he called for a focus on effectively implementing the approved resolutions, promoting the spirit of solidarity, and striving to achieve the development targets for 2026, thereby laying the foundation for the 2026–2031 term.
