The first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of Dong Nai Province, for the 2025-2030 term, is a momentous event that harmonizes the people’s aspirations and the Party's will. It is held at a time when the Provincial Party Congress just concluded with brilliant success, and nearly 4.5 million cadres, Party members, and local people are enthusiastically looking forward to the 14th National Party Congress with great expectations.
The Congress affirms the high determination and decisive actions of the Front and its member organizations within the "common home" that embodies the great national unity bloc. It continues to promote its role as a political core force, a nucleus of unity, and a “bridge” that closely connects the Provincial Party Organization, government, and people from across the province. It constantly strives to innovate methods, improve operational efficiency, and meet the objective requirements of the beginning of a new era.
Deeply imbued with the directive of the Party General Secretary To Lam: The Front is the place that gathers people from all social strata. The strength of the Front is the strength of the people's aspiration, and "great national unity" is the central keyword throughout the Draft Document submitted to this Dong Nai Provincial VFF Congress and serves as the "red thread" guiding all activities of the two-tier VFF system in the new term.
The Draft Political Report has concretized the great national unity bloc through 12 different social groups, including those living in the province and overseas Vietnamese - Dong Nai expatriates. All are gathered by the Front in a broad political alliance, working "with one heart and mind" to serve the great aspiration for sustainable, equitable, and humane development, creating momentum for Dong Nai to "take off" steadily in the future.
Great national unity is therefore concretized through grassroots democratic mechanisms, social criticism, community supervision, dialogue with the people, and the replication of the "United - Prosperous - Happy Residential Area" model, creating core values based on the widespread practice of the motto "People know - people discuss - people do - people check - people supervise - people enjoy." In particular, the congress affirms the Action Program accompanying the resolution, clearly outlining what needs/must be done, dynamically and creatively arousing the strength of the people to promote development, prioritizing models/movements that can be rapidly replicated and have a great impact on people's lives, absolutely avoiding formalism.
For the Provincial Front to excellently fulfill its mission in the revolution of streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus, it requires the staff in charge to continuously innovate their thinking, professional working skills, and strongly focus on the 1,772 villages, hamlets, and residential areas at the grassroots level. A style of staying close to the people, respecting the people and working for the interest of the people will motivate the Front cadres to forge the drive to enhance their courage, capacity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate, and enthusiastically contribute with knowledge, responsibility, and heart.
In the context of Dong Nai province’s recent merger of administrative boundaries, characterized by its multi-ethnic and multi-religious area, a long borderline, and one of the most dynamic socio-economic development paces in the country, the great unity bloc as solid as "diamond" serves as a soft power, the "people's hearts and minds” posture, joining hands to realize the great goal of making Dong Nai "rise up, lead, and go first" to be green, rich, strong, civilized, and modern province, contributing to building a powerful and prosperous Vietnam.
