Dong Nai VFF achieved remarkable results during 2024–2025 period. In your opinion, what are the key highlights of this period?
During 2024–2025 period, despite being a transitional phase in the process of restructuring organizational apparatus, the Provincial VFF work has still achieved many impressive outcomes. The most significant highlight is that the Front Committees at all levels have smoothly operated under the new, streamlined organizational model in line with the Party and State’s orientation: Unified action, smooth coordination across length and breadth.
At present, 100% of the 1st commune-level VFF Congresses for the 2025–2030 tenure have been successfully held. Commune-level VFF Committees have gathered and elected nearly 6,000 exemplary individuals representing ethnic minorities, religious communities, experts, intellectuals from various fields, artists, and craftsmen, as well as representatives of mass organizations and associations, to serve as members of the commune-level VFF Committees.
Meanwhile, the VFF Committees at all levels have presided over 1,100 supervision activities and provided feedback on 809 draft documents. All units within the Front system at all levels have applied digital technology and social media in public communication and mobilization work.
In addition, the Front has also mobilized social resources totaling more than VND 1.3 trillion to implement social welfare activities and received over VND 231 billion in support for people affected by natural disasters. At the same time, VFF Committees at all levels have effectively implemented the movement “All people participate in protecting the sovereignty and security of national borders in the new situation,” contributing to maintaining peaceful and friendly borderlines.
*What is the significance of this Congress for the great national unity bloc in Dong Nai province?
This Congress holds profound political and social significance. It takes place right after the reorganization of administrative units and the implementation of the two-tier local government system, marking a special milestone in merging and restructuring political-social organizations and mass associations under the VFF.
The Congress aims to review and assess activities from 2024 to the present, while setting out orientations, goals, and action programs for the 2025–2030 tenure. Through this Congress, the Provincial VFF affirms its determination to accompany the Party organization, government, and people of Dong Nai in successfully realizing the set objectives and tasks, contributing significantly to the province’s construction and development, worthy of its position and stature in the nation’s period of advancement.
Promoting the strength of the great national unity is one of the key elements of this Congress’s theme. How will the Dong Nai VFF Standing Committee implement this in such a multi-ethnic, multi-religious province?
The Front has always thoroughly grasped the principle that “Great national unity is a precious tradition, a strategic guideline of the Party, a source of immense strength, and a decisive factor in the success of national construction and defense.”

Dong Nai is characterized by its ethnic and religious diversity. With the new, more streamlined organizational model that operates closer to the people, the Provincial VFF now has better conditions to understand and listen to citizens’ legitimate aspirations and concerns.
We will continue to renew our approach to gathering and uniting all social strata, social organizations, professional associations, and mass groups to contribute wisdom and efforts across various fields of social life, thereby effectively implementing the Provincial VFF’s action programs.
Currently, the Provincial VFF has 24 member organizations and will be consolidated to have 37 member organizations in the 2025–2030 tenure.
The VFF encourages the people to uphold the traditions of patriotism, solidarity, democracy, self-reliance, and mutual support to overcome challenges and contribute to building Dong Nai into a green, civilized, and modern province, advancing together with the nation into a new era.
To realize the Congress’s objectives, the Provincial VFF will focus on three groups of key solutions: accelerating digital transformation and enhancing substantive democracy, where the Front will play a core role in applying digital technology in communication and mobilization; while improving the quality of supervision and social feedback through pilot models such as Expert Supervision Group and The Month of Listening to the People, ensuring that citizens’ voices are truly heard.
Moreover, resources will be concentrated on breakthrough tasks associated with shifting the focus of mass campaigns from “meeting standards” to “improving quality and sustainability,” aiming to successfully build the model of “United, prosperous, and happy residential areas” and to complete the target of constructing 5,000 Great Unity houses along with other support programs for border areas.
After the administrative merger, Dong Nai covers a large area with a dense population, while staff have been streamlined and the workload has increased compared to before. Therefore, besides upholding traditional values, the Front officials must be technologically competent and take the lead in digital applications for communication, mobilization, and management tasks.
They must also be responsive in handling grassroots issues, affirming their role as a bridge between the Party and the people, promptly protecting citizens’ lawful rights and interests, and being a true source of support whenever people need.
Furthermore, innovation in operational models at the grassroots level is essential to improve the quality of community-based initiatives and better meet the practical needs of social life.
Comrade Ha Anh Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Dong Nai VFF
The Front will continue to effectively implement the Party’s policy of streamlining and restructuring its organizational apparatus, enhancing operational quality across the VFF and its affiliated political and social organizations, as well as mass associations, in a decisive and synchronized manner. It will also improve staff quality and build the image of a Front official who is “Dedicated – Responsible – Disciplined – Dynamic,” meeting the demands of the new era.
What message does Dong Nai VFF Standing Committee wish to convey to the people through this Congress?
In the context of Dong Nai’s ongoing implementation of major tasks and key national projects, along with its restructuring of the organizational apparatus and the two-tier local government, the VFF is renewing its operations to further promote people’s right to mastery. The Front calls on all social classes to maintain close solidarity, unity, and determination to overcome challenges, successfully accomplish socio-economic development goals, ensure national defense and security, and uphold political stability.
*Thank you very much, comrade!
