According to comrade Ha Anh Dung, the current Provincial VFF Committee is constituted from the former Provincial VFF Committee and five political organizations, namely the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Viet Nam Women’s Union, the Viet Nam Farmers’ Union, the Viet Nam War Veterans’ Association, and the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour. At present, the Standing Committee of the Provincial VFF Committee comprises a Chairwoman, who also serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; a Standing Vice Chairman, who also acts as a member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; and eight Vice Chairpersons, five of whom concurrently lead the five political organizations. This organizational model will continue to be maintained in the new tenure to ensure consistency and coherence in all activities under the motto: “Unity in action, smooth coordination across length and breadth”.

The theme of this congress is: “Upholding the political core role and the strength of great national unity; strongly inspiring the spirit of self-reliance, innovation, creativity, dedication, and solidarity to build Dong Nai into a green, prosperous, civilized, and modern province.” Given Dong Nai’s large population, its religious and ethnic diversity, long borderlines, and the influx of a significant number of workers from across the country seeking to build their livelihoods in the province, strengthening the great national unity bloc remains a key task of the Front work in the new tenure.

In addition, during this tenure, the VFF Committee of Dong Nai province has set out several key tasks closely associated with improving people’s livelihoods, firmly safeguarding the national border, and developing a social welfare program with focused priorities. These include enhancing the program oriented toward the border areas; linking with inland localities to establish twinning relations; providing support to border communes, promoting robust digital transformation; strengthening the role of supervision and social criticism, while ensuring effective follow-up on their outcomes; and connecting citizens and the business community to actively participate in social welfare activities, not only assisting disadvantaged groups within the province but also extending solidarity and support to the poor and those affected by natural disasters across the country.
