Thorough preparations for the organization of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association

On the afternoon of November 17, the 3rd conference of the provisional Executive Committee of the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association took place at the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association, aimed at preparing for the organization of the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association for the 2025–2030 term. The conference was chaired by journalist Tran Nam Dong, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association, Chairman of the Dong Nai provincial Journalists’ Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio, Television (DNNRTV).

Also in attendance were Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of DNNRTV Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, along with members of the provisional Executive Committee of the provincial Journalists’ Association.

The Conference discussed, contributed opinions to, and approved the draft Report of the provisional Executive Committee of the provincial Journalists’ Association, as well as the draft Self-Review Report of the provisional Executive Committee, in preparation for the 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association for the 2025–2030 term.

Accordingly, the delegates engaged in discussions and offered many thoughtful and dedicated opinions on further refining the political report, with a focus on analyzing the results achieved and identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of journalism work amid the strong development of digital media. In addition, they emphasized increasing investment in digital transformation and continuing to hold Dong Nai’s journalism contests so as to encourage journalists in the province can produce high-quality journalistic works.

The conference carried out personnel work, conducting a vote of confidence for an 11-strong Executive Committee; a 3-member Standing Committee; an Inspection Committee with 3 members, along with the positions of Chairman, Standing Vice Chairman, and Concurrent Vice Chairman; and the projected delegation to attend the 12th National Congress of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association.

The Dong Nai Journalists’ Association was formed through the merger of the former Dong Nai Journalists’ Association and the former Binh Phuoc Journalists’ Association. The 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Journalists’ Association for the 2025–2030 term is expected to take place at the end of December 2025.
