In his opening address, Secretary of the Dong Nai Party Committee and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Vu Hong Van emphasised that to accelerate and successfully achieve the province’s socio-economic development goals for 2025, the Provincial Party Standing Committee convened the conference to focus on urgent tasks and core solutions for the final months of the year. He stressed that the conference carried particular significance in ensuring the province achieves double-digit growth in 2025.

Over the past nine months, thanks to the concerted efforts and unity of the entire Party organization, Government, and people, Dong Nai's socio-economic situation recorded positive results. The provincial economic growth rate is estimated to grow by 8.86% year on year, exceeding the target set by the Government. Key sectors, including the Industrial Production Index, state budget revenue, disbursement of foreign direct investment (FDI) capital, and social housing development, recorded significant progress.

To meet the 2025 growth target of 10%, Dong Nai must record a growth rate of 12.8% in the fourth quarter of 2025. This is a challenging task that demands decisive action from the entire political system. Currently, the province’s public investment disbursement rate remains low, while land clearance and compensation face major obstacles, affecting around 150 projects. Planning progress has been slow, failing to meet development requirements, and delays in land-use rights auctions have significantly affected budget revenue and development investment.

2025 marks the final year for accelerating breakthroughs in the 2020–2025 period, paving the way for the province to work toward the goal of achieving double-digit growth in the 2026–2030 period; therefore, the workload for the remaining two months of the year is substantial and decisive. This requires a thorough understanding of the “three priorities, three transparencies, and one measurement” spirit outlined by Party General Secretary To Lam, along with the implementation of the “six clarities” principle.
