Phu Hoa promotes women’s tradition, potential, and aspirations to rise

On October 14, the Phu Hoa Commune Women’s Union held its first Women’s Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The congress was attended by commune leaders and 150 official delegates.

The congress approved the political report under the theme: “Phu Hoa women promote tradition, develop potential and intelligence, and the aspiration to rise; stay innovative and creative to build a strong union, progressive, prosperous, and happy families; contributing to fostering gender equality and building Phu Hoa into a comprehensively and sustainably developed commune.”

With the motto “Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Development,” the 1st Women’s Congress of the commune aimed to review the implementation results of the Women’s Union Congress resolution for the 2021-2026 term, evaluate the performance of the tasks of the commune Women’s Union Executive Committee, and set directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term. During the past term, the union’s activities achieved many positive results, successfully meeting and exceeding all 12 targets set in the resolution. Several targets were significantly surpassed, including the implementation of the “5 Nos, 3 Cleans” family-building campaign, the rate of public participation in the union, and the proportion of members regularly participating in union activities.

Speaking at the congress, Dinh Kim Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Phu Hoa Commune Party Committee, praised the Women’s Union's achievements during the past term. He also urged the union to continue promoting its accomplishments and to uphold a spirit of responsibility, solidarity, and creativity to build a strong, professional, and effective organization. He called on the union to strive for the happiness and advancement of women and for gender equality, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of Phu Hoa commune.

At the congress, the Presidium announced the decisions of the Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Union Standing Committee on the appointment of the Executive Committee, consisting of 31 members, the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee, the President, and Vice President of the Phu Hoa Commune Women’s Union for the first term (2025-2030), as well as the designation of delegates to attend the first Dong Nai Provincial Women’s Congress for the 2025-2030 term. In particular, Dinh Thi Huong was appointed as President of the Phu Hoa Commune Women’s Union for the first term (2025-2030).
