During the past tenure, the Dau Giay commune Women’s Union successfully fulfilled and surpassed all 11 targets set by the resolution of the 2021–2026 congress. Notably, the emulation movement to build the image of Vietnamese women in the new era, associated with studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style, has introduced and honored 67 exemplary women and effective models across various movements, campaigns, and sectors.
Throughout the tenure, the union organized 180 communication and environmental campaigns with more than 9,800 participants, contributing to environmental sanitation, tree planting and care activities. To date, over 9,600 trees of various kinds have been planted and maintained, helping create a greener and cleaner environment. The union also developed six models of “green houses” for collecting recyclable waste.
In addition, the union effectively implemented two key breakthroughs: accompanying and supporting the development of strong grassroots branches and women’s groups; improving the quality of member engagement, organizational development and innovation in the union’s activities; enhancing the application of information technology in the union’s operations.
Based on these achievements, the Dau Giay commune Women’s Union set out six groups of targets, five key tasks, and two breakthroughs for the 2025–2030 tenure, focusing on accelerating digital transformation within the organization, supporting women in enhancing digital capacity and promoting women’s innovation and entrepreneurship for economic development.
