Dong Nai: Localities simultaneously launch mass mobilization campaigns

To mark the 95th anniversary of the Party’s Mass Mobilization Day (October 15, 1930 – 2025), on October 11, the Party Committee of Xuan Loc Commune launched a pilot mass mobilization campaign along Xuan Hiep - Lang Minh Road.

Attending the launching ceremony were Nguyen Thi Cat Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the People’s Council of Xuan Loc Commune; members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Commune People’s Committee; 300 officers and soldiers from Regiment 3, Division 9, Army Corps 4; officers and soldiers from Dong Nai Regiment; officials, civil servants, and employees from Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations; as well as local police, military forces, and a large number of residents.

During the campaign, participating forces carried out various practical activities, including clearing bushes, cleaning the environment, unclogging drainage systems, and improving the landscape along both sides of the 4-kilometer Xuan Hiep and Lang Minh Road. They also planted golden trumpets to create a greener and more beautiful environment along the route.

Following the pilot activity, on October 12, all 31 hamlets in Xuan Loc Commune simultaneously launched mass mobilization campaigns. Branches and party cells under the commune Party Committee mobilized cadres, union members, association members, and residents to participate in environmental clean-up efforts, road beautification, and the enhancement of a spacious, clean, and attractive rural landscape.

Cao Tien Sy, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People’s Council of Dau Giay Commune, stated that the mass mobilization campaign aims to build on the important achievements already attained, further promote patriotic emulation movements across agencies, units, and all sectors of society, and encourage the entire Party, army, and people to actively compete to comprehensively fulfill the socio-economic development targets for 2025 and the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels. The campaign also serves to celebrate the success of Party congresses at all levels and to welcome the 14th National Party Congress.

As part of the campaign, the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune held a launching ceremony in Hamlet 9/4 with practical activities such as presenting 90 gifts to disadvantaged households and students, conducting environmental clean-up activities, repairing a 400-meter section of the local road, and encouraging residents to join the health insurance program. The total value of the campaign was 100 million VND.

As part of the emulation campaign celebrating the events mentioned above, numerous agencies and benefactors took part by organizing meaningful activities such as fundraising for the construction of charity houses, presenting gifts to disadvantaged households, awarding scholarships to underprivileged students, promoting environmental protection, organizing programs that exchange recyclable waste for gifts, and conducting two rounds of free medical examinations and treatment for residents in the locality. Other activities included launching a “piggy bank” movement to support orphaned and poor children, as well as organizing cultural, sports, and Mid-Autumn Festival programs for children.

On this occasion, local agencies and units simultaneously launched activities with a proactive and responsible spirit, following the principle of “clear responsibilities, clear tasks.” Each unit carried out its registered initiatives through meaningful, practical actions aimed at serving the people. Across the commune, a wide range of social welfare and rural beautification efforts were implemented, including presenting gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, building "Comrades' Houses," donating bicycles to disadvantaged students, providing gifts to low-income households, offering sponsorship and health insurance cards, and distributing school supplies to underprivileged students. The total value of the campaign was estimated at over VND 772 million, with thousands of volunteer workdays contributed by officials, Party members, Youth Union members, association members, and residents in the locality.

At the same time, participating units also carried out activities to enhance the appearance of their offices, plant trees, clean the environment, and collect waste, thereby contributing to the creation of a bright, green, clean, and beautiful community landscape.

* In the exciting atmosphere of competition to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's traditional mass mobilization work, on the morning of October 11, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Hoa commune launched a peak campaign to do mass mobilization work.

Speaking at the ceremony, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, Ta Quang Truong, affirmed: Inheriting the thought of "Relaxing the people's strength to make a plan that is deep-rooted and lasting" of Saint Tran and imbued with the teaching of President Ho Chi Minh "It is a hundred times easier to endure without the people, a thousand times harder to do it with the people", doing mass mobilization requires "thinking with the mind, seeing with the eyes, listening with the ears, walking with the feet, speaking with the mouth, and working with the hands", therefore, every cadre, party member and people of Xuan Hoa commune must engrave in their mind the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", must promote the spirit of skillful mass mobilization, be close to the people, be close to the people, and work for the people, contributing to building the homeland to develop more and more.

Following the ceremony, Xuan Hoa commune organized a mass mobilization campaign with many practical activities: beautifying village roads, planting trees, cleaning the environment, repairing houses for poor households, propagating the law, mobilizing people to participate in social insurance, health insurance, maintaining security and order in residential areas. Political and social organizations and hamlet party cells simultaneously registered projects, skillful mass mobilization work, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, spreading the spirit of community responsibility.

In this campaign, the commune mobilized nearly 9,000 working days to participate in the construction of rural roads, beautifying residential areas, clearing ditches to prevent flooding in the whole commune, reaching about 1.8 billion VND. Mobilized 100% of the funding from the people to build the inter-hamlet road Xuan Tam 6 and Xuan Tam 7 of the commune with a value of 2.5 billion VND.

In addition, Xuan Hoa commune gave many gifts to the poor, scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties, donated charity houses, launched the socialization of the commune sports complex project... The total value of the campaign was about 5 billion VND.

At the headquarters of the People’s Committee of Tan Trieu Ward, the Ward Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Trieu Ward held a launching ceremony for activities commemorating the 95th anniversary of the Party’s traditional mass mobilization work and the 26th “National Mass Mobilization Day.”

At the launching ceremony, all forces, including officials, party members, union members, neighborhood groups, and local residents, participated in cleaning activities: clearing weeds, unclogging drains, collecting trash along streets in the ward, filling potholes, maintaining ditches, and tidying up the environment in Tan Trieu Ward. They also cleaned cultural facilities, streets, canals, and streams within the neighborhoods, contributing to a cleaner and more beautiful urban landscape while helping prevent flooding.

Nguyen Quang Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Tan Trieu Ward, stated that the activity is not only practically meaningful, demonstrating the spirit of “Skillful mass mobilization leads to success in all endeavors,” contributing to a green, clean, and beautiful living environment, raising community awareness, and effectively implementing the movement “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Life” - but also helps Tan Trieu Ward achieve the standard of a civilized urban area.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Tan An Commune Party Committee affirmed that mass mobilization work has always been a central, continuous task in the Party’s leadership, contributing to consolidating the great national unity and promoting the combined strength in building a progressively prosperous and civilized homeland.

During the event, the organizers presented 10 gifts to 10 policy beneficiary families, 5 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to disadvantaged students in Binh Chanh hamlet, and 100 gifts to 100 poor households across Binh Chanh, Cay Xoai, Binh Trung, Thai An, and hamlets 7, 8, and 9. The total value of gifts and scholarships, mobilized by local authorities, businesses, and social organizations, was estimated at over 60 million VND.

The participating teams also carried out mass mobilization activities in Binh Chanh hamlet, including clearing and cleaning both sides of Co Cay Xoai Street and the 3.8-hectare resettlement area, repairing potholes, dredging drainage canals, removing illegal advertisements, and raising public awareness on dengue fever prevention.
